The BMW i5 can go up to a maximum of 295 miles, while the BMW 5-Series can go up to 550 miles.

Another big difference is the price point. The BMW 5-Series starts at $58,895, while the BMW i5 starts at $67,795, nearly a full $10,000 more. In terms of pure performance, the BMW i5 tops the BMW 5-Series, providing drivers with two powerful electric motors that combine for 593 horsepower.
