The 2019 BMW X5 Is Available in Two Tech-Filled Trim Levels

The BMW X5 is all new for 2019. It's now over 1 inch longer and more than 2 1/2 inches wider than before. But it also has a refreshed interior, with a new shifter, steering wheel, and infotainment display. The 2019 BMW X5 only offers two trim levels for now, but an M version is expected later. The two trims currently available include:

  • The 2019 X5 xDrive40i: This model comes with a 3.0-liter turbocharged in-line six with all-wheel drive. Standard features include a rearview camera, Bluetooth, keyless entry, a navigation system, and a touch screen display with voice recognition. Available options include:
    • A head-up display
    • Bower & Wilkins surround sound audio system
    • Rear-seat entertainment system

    • The 2019 X5 xDrive50i: This model comes with leather upholstery, a 14-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, proximity entry system, and automatic climate control w/dual rear air conditioning zones. Additional available options include:
      • Night vision w/Pedestrian Detection
      • Active cruise control
      • Remote engine start
      • Gesture control

The forthcoming 2019 BMW X5 M trim is expected to have body-color wheel arches and bumper trim, along with 20-inch wheels (with 21- and 22-inch wheels available). On the inside, M Sport models will have special seat piping, aluminum interior trim and an M Sport steering wheel.
